Took my daughter here for a mom+daughter date. This restaurant is stunning! Very beautiful interior. The food was also amazing and so were the drinks. Plan on going again soon on a weekend for their brunch menu!
We adore La Margot! This is our go-to place for date nights or for family gatherings. There's something for everyone on the menu! Want high-quality French cuisine? You can get a Croque Madame, soupe à l'oignon, or a classic steak-frites. If you'd rather have a burger, the Le Margot burger is unmissable (hello, fig jam!!!) and the truffle fries are pure heaven. Pricier Beef Wellington or Dover Sole are also available, both of which are perfectly executed and worth every penny. Appetizers like the pear flatbread or the extremely french Steak Tartare are terrific meal openers, and the desserts - Crème Brûlée, mousse au chocolat avec des framboises - perfectly finish off your dining experience. Service is appropriately attentive, and the atmosphere is charmingly off-beat and sumptuous.
Quite possibly the best bite in Fort Worth. Dining area is cozy and well lit. Our waiter Mathew was the most attentive I've ever had. He offered the special items, providing deep insight. But my girlfriend and I had a gameplan. For starters the Sex on the Bay PEI oysters were succulent. Sweet with a slight briny finish. As a first course we chose the shrimp cocktail and charcuterie board. The shrimp were jumbo sized with a wonderful house cocktail sauce and a garlic aioli. (Which I preferred). Charcuterie board came with Brie, Gorganzola and Parmigiano Reggiano along side Prosciutto di Parma and a house made Pate. With all the accompaniments it made for a pleasurable tasting experience. While we were in food heaven, our waiter Matt was constantly checking on us and even replaced my girlfriends Martini glass which had gotten warm (and was affecting the taste) with a fresh chilled glass. She said in all her years it was the first time someone had done that. For the entree we did the steamed mussels and truffle parm frites with the Burgundy escargot washed down with a cold Stella Artois. The taste brought me back to a cafe in Brussels. Finally dessert was a hot fudge profiterole with ice cream which was divine. Pair it with a Cafe Margot. You won't regret it. In closing thanks to the staff at Le Margot for one of the best food experiences I've ever had... GRAZIE!
Brought my mom for brunch, she had one of the specials, surf and turf eggs Benedict and I had strawberry French toast, everything was delicious. The steak on the surf and turf was pretty tender. The restaurant was nice and moody and not too bright, a variety of families, couples, and parties, but despite that, you could still easily hold a conversation. Our server was very professional and accommodating, and we have only praise. Would like to go back and try dinner some time. You can imagine you're in France for a while even though you're just on Hulen in Fort Worth.
What a wonderful Birthday lunch i had at Le Margot in Fort Worth! The decor is gorgeous in pink, red & mauve. I love the ginormous flower arrangements all over the restaurant. Our lunch ( waldorf salad & hamburger) was superb, best food we've had in a long time in Fort Worth! Our server Ricky was attentive & quick to fill up our iced tea glasses when they were low. The Happy Birthday cream puff was delicious with white chocolate ice cream & fudge sauce. Le Margot gave me a special Birthday gift - heart shaped measuring spoons & a card for a Free flambe tart for next time. Bravo to celebrity chef/owner & Fort Worth resident Graham Elliott!! We will definetly be back for happy hour & dinner!
We had a great first time at Le Margot. Everyone was very kind and the food was fantastic! Our server Isaiah was amazing as well. He helped us with making great food choices and drinks. Would definitely come again and try other dishes and drinks again. Thank you all for the great time!
